DEMACO becomes life member of United Safety Council

West Melbourne, Florida, USA – DEMACO joined the United Safety Council as a life member, the first company to join in that category in the history of the Council. The United Safety Council is an independent, non-governmental, safety training and educational organization operating locally and nationally. Since 1953, the Council has promoted safety in every phase of American life, including at businesses, and industrial facilities.

Glenn Victor, the Business Relations Director of the United Safety Council said, “DEMACO sees the value of safety training and views the Council as an important, long-term business partner.” The United Safety Council offers regular courses in safety and health related subjects. Len DeFrancisci from DEMACO said, “We have benefitted greatly from the training that the United Safety Council conducts, and we have sent four employees to become Certified Occupational Safety Specialists over the past two years. The training really improves safety awareness on many levels.” DEMACO builds state-of-the-art, high capacity industrial pasta machines used by the largest food companies in the world.
