World Pasta Night 2026 Is Celebrated Today Around the World
21 June 2026 Off By PastariaTonight, thousands of tables and one common protagonist: pasta. On June 21, the international pasta community—bringing together pasta producers, consumers, restaurateurs and pasta lovers—will celebrate the ultimate symbol of conviviality through events, dinners and shared stories from around the world.
World Pasta Night was created as an open, widespread and participatory initiative, bringing together pasta makers, pasta producers, companies, restaurateurs, enthusiasts, pasta lovers and consumers through social media and beyond.
Homes, restaurants, public squares, community events, physical venues and digital spaces such as social networks: any setting can become part of the global celebration taking place on Sunday, June 21. The only common element is the gesture itself: sharing a plate of pasta, wherever you may be.
A free, spontaneous and international celebration that invites everyone – absolutely everyone – to take part.
Among the national and international associations supporting World Pasta Night are the Pasta Group of Unione Italiana Food, APPAFRE (Italian Association of Fresh Pasta Producers of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises), APPF (Italian Association of Fresh Pasta Producers), IPO (International Pasta Organisation), NAPM (National Association of Pasta Manufacturers), NPA (National Pasta Association), TMSD (Turkish Pasta Manufacturers Association), and UIFRA (Unión Industrial de Fideeros de la República Argentina).
Pasta producers, first and foremost, will organize company events, tasting sessions and storytelling initiatives connected to their products and history, while pasta lovers and consumers will gather with friends and family around the table. The foodservice and retail sectors are also invited to play an active role by offering dedicated menus, themed evenings and in-store activations, further expanding the reach and visibility of World Pasta Night.
All the moments generated by this collective participation will come to life on social media through images, stories and experiences shared online, demonstrating how a simple everyday act of conviviality can become a global celebration.
